Abstract :
The paper sets limits to pulse duration and communication range caused by dispersion distortions for different models of stratified nonuniform ionosphere. The paper reveals dependence of pulse distortions on their duration and incidence angle, establishes parameter value intervals which allow high-speed long-range radio communication.
