Abstract :
An effective, phase-only adjustment algorithm is presented to compensate for any error in the phased-array pattern due to the effect of the "slowly-varying systematic distortions" of the phased array in this paper, and is applied to the SAR antenna. The validity of the algorithm has been tested by particular theoretical distortions of the SAR antenna subjected to thermal loads.
