  • Abstract
    A high-efficiency microwave avalanche diode has been used to generate high-power GHz-rate pulses. Pulse amplitude is 125 V into a 50-ohm load. Pulsewidth is 400 ps, risetime 100 ps, and falltime 200 ps.
