Abstract :
This paper presents a study of applying an image superresolution method to enhance spatial resolution of MRI heart images from a temporal sequence. The particular method is a wavelet-based projection-onto-convex-set superresolution reconstruction. It makes use of the non-stationary effect in the successive images in the sequence to extract some detail information for image reconstruction at a higher spatial resolution. Our experimental result shows better visual quality than that obtained by using the cubic-spline interpolation.
