Abstract :
Within the County of Vasterbotten, in the north of Sweden, telematic projects have been ongoing in health care since the mid-90ies. The North of Sweden is sparsely populated. The current project has been designed in order to exploit the results emanating from the pilot projects in different areas of health care. This include integration of telematic support to the basic care in order to evaluate the effects on health care structure, referrals, time consumption as well as quality from the patients perspective and from the community side
