            Abstract :
Aspects of using the generalized multipole technique to compute cone-sphere scattering are examined. The monostatic backscattering computed with 10 azimuthal modes and a total of 872 unknowns is shown. It is believed that the result is accurate to within +or-2 dB for scattered field levels above -10 dB, and to +or-0.15 dB for levels above 10 dB.<>
