Abstract :
The arithmetic based on Canny´s regulation has been widely used in image edge detection. This paper illustrates the algorithm and proposes an improved method based on the Histogram-based fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm for the lack of the Canny algorithm, so the Canny algorithm can adaptively determine the double thresholds. Its application in detecting road surface distress image produces good effect.
