Abstract :
This paper is intended to develop a comprehensive online review system design comprising of (a) what information should be shown and (b) what information should be collected from reviewer. Information/features in best practice online review template from Yahoo Developer Network and other 3 e-commerce websites are discussed and analyzed using 5W1H to be then included in the information architecture. Moreover, this study also presents two related policies that could be implemented in order to ensure that the collected information from reviewer is not manipulated and to increase the intention to provide online review. Those policies, together with the information architecture, were validated using expert evaluation and the result showed that the online review system designed based on the information architecture and policies helps to provide important information needed for comprehensive evaluation.
