Abstract :
For six-phase permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) which has two sets of Y-connected three-phase windings spatially phase shifted by 30 electrical degrees, an improved four vectors synthesis method was proposed which based on analysis the largest adjacent vectors modulation strategy, the PWM output waveforms were centralized according to the voltage RMS value invariable, by injecting the harmonics, it realized non-sinusoidal modulation. Simulation and experiment validated the method can modulated the voltage in non-sinusoidal area, and reduced the harmonics of voltage and current.
