Abstract
A CMOS continuous-time biquadratic filter module generator is described. For a selective active RC filter circuit, this computer-aided design tool takes as input the biquadratic filter function coefficients and some control variables, and select component values by equating transfer function coefficients. The authors summarize the procedure used in this CMOS continuous-time filter module generator, and discuss some of the design issues and tradeoffs. Continuous-time filters of any order may be created by cascading first-order and biquadratic filter sections. An example illustrates the generator´s capabilities
