Abstract :
The design procedure for of electromagnetic field strength behind the forest canopy layer for dual mechanism of wave propagation in case of radio transmitter installed at a big height is presented. A comparative analysis of contribution of diffraction and refraction electric field components forming the resultant field at a point of reception for vertical and horizontal polarizations is realized. Comparison of experimental and calculated results at 200 MHz frequency is executed
