Abstract :
The authors conclude from their study that: 1. All measured values were generally overestimations of true values. 2. With a proper calibration to only one radiation quality (Cs-137), the system proved to be able for accurate dose measurements for any radiation quality and any incident angle; the deviations were higher for low doses (less 1 mSv) and for extreme low and high energies. 3. As this procedure can be applied with similar good results to any personal dosimeter system (e.g., films instead TLDs), the use of operational quantity Hp(10) will be extended for personal monitoring of all radiation workers from hospitals in Romania
