Abstract
The author presents a general assessment of the range of sensor used in rate-adaptive pacing: activity sensors, Q-T interval, respiratory sensors, paced depolarisation integral, accelerometer based sensors, dual sensors. Some aspects of clinical practice and mimicking of sinus rhythm are also addressed
