Logistics is the movement process of items from the suppliers to receivers. With the rapid development of socio-economic, logistics has become one of our nation´s important industries. “Rationalization of distribution” has become a kind of inside request in today´s logistics development, and it is increasingly catching people´s attention. Based on the packing problem of distribution in logistics, this article leads to genetic algorithm in packing problem applications, it focuses on the application of genetic algorithm to solve the bin-packing problem, and will achieves good results.
