Abstract :
In WSN, cluster heads deployment influences the performance of WSNs(Wireless Sensor Networks). Taking the relation between the position and load of cluster heads into account, this paper proposes the idea of common nodes are prior placed, cluster heads with more energy and communication capability are deployed according to the special relation of common nodes, and designs a cluster heads deployment based on Genetic Algorithm and Weighed Clustering Algorithm(GA-WCA), in which the position of cluster heads will be decided by GA, and nodes selection within a cluster will be decided by WCA. The simulation result verifies the availability of this algorithm, when under the constraint condition of ideal load of cluster heads and balanced load between cluster heads, the optimal deployment of cluster heads can be realized.
