Abstract :
Low frequency, broadband, small size and high power is main direction for underwater acoustic transducers. A new piezoelectricity bender disk transducer is firstly designed with finite element method, which is element of an array that can realize low frequency, small size, high power and directivity, but with narrow bandwidth. Then different dimension bender disk transducer elements are assembled together to a tightness arrangement vertical array, analyzing with finite element method. With driving pattern of piezoelectric ceramics designed, the array can achieve broadband transmitting, simultaneously, maintaining other advantages, and the transmitting voltage response exceeds 135 dB. In this way, a low frequency, broadband and small size underwater acoustic transducer array which can also transmits with high power is designed, owning broad prospects and applied value.
