Abstract :
A computer-aided-analysis algorithm for switching power converters is proposed. The algorithm is simple and efficient for the steady-state analyses of converters because it is a modified form of the harmonic analysis method in the frequency domain. The switching functions are not described by convolutions of harmonics, but by a simple algorithm in the time domain. Some computed examples, mainly for voltage-type inverters, show the application of this method.
