Abstract
Piecewise linear (PWL) systems are mostly partitioned based on their state variables. Due to the output noise and estimation errors, the transitions of actual state and its estimate may not be synchronized. In this paper, we consider the non-synchronized Hinfin estimation problem for both continuous-time and discrete-time PWL systems. This paper extends the authors´ previous work and presents a number of less conservative design approaches
