  • Abstract
Team oriented problem solving is a multi-disciplined approach. It integrates traditional approaches to problem solving with structures for supporting and enhancing team-work. It presents an opportunity to cultivate an effective approach to actually solving a wide range of problems, whilst building and cultivating team-work. It creates substantial synergisms through the interaction of a rigorous problem-solving methodology with a process which draws out the best of both individuals and the team. The author discusses the approaches used by Sporting Bodymind to enhance team building and problem solving. He discusses guidelines for the beginning of each problem solving session, the roles of team members, communication skills, problem solving activities, and `warming down´ at the end of a session
