Many organisations practice TQM (total quality management), but consistency in definitions within one company is important. In Akzo Chemicals, they call it MTQ, managing total quality, a process model obtained from 3M Quality Management Services. Here, the author presents an overview of some of the action which Akzo Chemicals have taken in order to make this quality process come alive within their company
