  • Abstract
The management of health care premises is required to be aware of the control of electromagnetic interference, and the implications of the EMC Directive. New mandatory EMC requirements have to be considered when specifying, designing or purchasing new equipment. Site surveillance and well documented procedures are an essential part of understanding the electromagnetic environment and resolving any associated problems that may result. It will be a criminal offence to place on the market or the take into service a product which has not met the requirements of the EMC Directive
