Abstract :
The author presents 2 summaries of reports which describe the outlook for intelligent networks and related services in Europe and the US. These examine the network architectures deployed, services offered, regulatory actions and commercial postures. Substantial needs and demand for IN-like capabilities are identified, but no consensus in implementation of standardised architectures is observed
