Abstract :
Parameter surfaces reconstruction is the key problem for CAD/CG. In this paper, a two-dimensional potential function of parameter surface on manifold based on non-tensor product form is proposed to represent. Two-dimensional potential function is a common type of functions, but most of them are tensor product form in nature. It suffers from serious limitations in practice. Several experimental results of three dimensional models are given, which show that the method of this paper´s discussion is effective.
