Abstract
This paper has been enhanced the dimensions of the microstrip filter namely; the height of the microstrip filter substrate and the width of the patch microstrip filter, by using nano-composite materials which composite of RO3003 with nanofillers (Fumed Silica). Thus, in this paper, novel nano-composite material which composited of Fumed Silica with RO3003 has been be used as a substrate for the microstrip filter. The height and the width of suggested model of the microstrip filter are smaller than those of the conventional rectangular microstrip bandpass filter. Using novel nano-composite material, an efficient and compact microstrip filter can be obtained that with low radiation loss and has a simple fabrication. The reduction of the size is achieved by using nano-composed materials of high relative permittivity.
