  • Abstract
In this study, large-area single-layer graphene nanosheets were assembled on modified Si surface via an electrostatic adsorption strategy. Raman spectra indicated that although both graphene and graphene oxide can be regarded as effective substrate to suppress the fluorescence background of Rh123 molecule, only grapehene shows the excellent surface-enhanced Raman scattering effect and could be used to detect the fluorescence molecule with low concentration. This may be correlated with the energy transfer and π-π stacking between graphene and Rh123 molecules.
