Abstract :
Based on a unified model for calculating the faults with network operations, to improve the calculation accuracy of relay setting and coordination, a method is studied in this paper, which is used to calculate voltage across faulted open port and faulted electric parameters in relay setting and coordination. On the basis of the study, the paper proposes the determined method of disturbance area in power system with configuration changed on the basis of the concept of disturbance area, according to it, the relay protection´s device in the distance area has been reset.
