Abstract :
The automatic detection device used in small-sized pyramidal part is designed in this paper. The geometrical size and surface flaws are respectively measured and recognized. PLC (programmable logical controller) is used to automatically control the detection process. The detection principle and image processing are discussed. Running in real manufacturing line the device designed was verified. The testing results demonstrate that the device has improved obviously the detection precise and efficiency.
