Abstract :
Ghost effects and obscured areas are common problems that occur when dealing with the generation of digital true orthophotos. Tall objects such as buildings and sudden relief changes will lead to problems where hidden objects arise, due to the relief displacement caused by the perspective planes. Several images are needed to get full coverage of the area which is also used in filling up the occluded area. These issues are often discussed by many researchers in order to reduce or even eliminate the problems. In this paper, the research on certain techniques used to overcome such matters will be elaborated.
