Construction One E-learning Platform for Students Doing Measurement Practices and Experience Sharing

Experimentation holds the important position in learning activities. Providing a real, one-to-one and up-to-today physical specialist laboratory is difficult for lack of funding. Moreover, the convenience and stable time is limited by the physical laboratory opening timetable. Therefore, to provide an accessory experimentation environment is necessary for students who want to do some practices after experimental class. Meanwhile, experience sharing is an important step for collaboration learning among students. This paper describes an experimentation practice platform that providing test and measurement practices, which are based on some distributed measurement hardware resources, and providing experience sharing means. The platform consists of four parts: manager server, web server, experiment resources, and client software for students. The platform is described in terms of its architecture. Further work is outlined in corresponding parts and the conclusions are given in the end.
