Abstract :
Based on the constructivism and situated learning theory, knowledge should not be isolated from its own cultural context. A computer game can use various designs to construct a complex plot and a logical story line. Through exploring, objects collecting, thinking, problem solving, a learner´s motivation can be stimulated and reinforced in the course of game playing, which is the major application of instructional design in E-learning. This study intends to discuss and apply the teaching theory in a Computer Adventure Game (AVG) by using Flash, which resulted as an AVG called Ataiyal Legend.
