Abstract :
Widely used in multichip modules, passive devices are subject to intensive research. This paper introduces the concept of accurate and fast neural models for passives that efficiently integrate electromagnetic effects. By optimizing the circuit performance, the proposed approach can predict the optimum physical/geometrical parameters of passives. Applications using neural models in commercial circuit simulators are presented.
