Abstract :
Modern distance education is an important direction of the international education development since 1980s. It is a primary approach to realize information education and education internationalization, though modern distance education arouses a profound revolution in educational model and educational conception. Aiming at emotion deficiency in present distance education system, a lot of negative effects were analyzed and corresponding countermeasures were proposed. Based on it, facial emotion recognition and speech emotion recognition technologies are applied in Web based education system, the emotion state is judged and understood. The corresponding emotion encouragement and compensation are provided according to the specific emotion state. In future, teaching strategies and learning behaviors are adjusted according to specific emotion state.
