The problem of change detection in dynamic systems is most commonly treated in the context of parametric models in the literature. The authors propose a methodology for change detection based on simple nonparametric models in order to reduce the level of prior knowledge needed about the process. They concentrate on the case where only a small set of points on the plant frequency response is available
