Abstract :
The principle of frequency adaptation was proposed in the middle of the 1960s. The basic idea behind this kind of adaptation is dynamical choice and change of the best frequency channel. As adaptive transmission requires channel estimation and feedback, we consider a duplex system with estimation by special sounding signals and using the opposite direction for feedback. Our findings give both dependence of noise immunity on the time elapsed after the moment of sounding and the contribution of imperfect performance of the feedback channel to decreasing the noise immunity
