Abstract :
A novel compact dual-linearly polarized and dual-band (DPDB) antenna, operating B1 (0.8–1.0 GHz), B2 (1.70–1.88 GHz), B3 (1.91–2.17 GHz) and B4 (2.3–2.4 GHz) bands, is presented in this paper. The EM simulated models for its radiation element and its feed network, are developed. The antenna can cover GSM, DCS and E-UMTS spectrums. Its 10 dB return loss and 30 dB port isolations are obtained and verified by measurements. It is shown that this antenna is very suitable for cellular communication.
