Abstract :
A power combining technique for GaAs FET amplifiers will be presented. The approach, using a 12-way divider-combiner, has demonstrated a 31% 1dB bandwidth with an insertion loss of 0.25dB and a CW output power of 4.4W at 8.5GHz.
