Abstract :
Researches on HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) have shown dramatic evidences to the shift of interaction manners. To achieve well-designed I/O scenario, the use of multimedia technologies is necessary and fundamental. In this paper, an interactive gesture annotation framework was proposed to enhance the communication process. The built-in camera was considered as a simple input device, and the tracking algorithm was applied to recognize the gestures input by end-users. As contribution, the developed framework can now be applied in MSNP (Mobile Status and Notification Protocol), and the recognition rate achieved is up to 80% in a real-time scenario.
