Abstract :
Utilization of planar antennas has become popular due to their ease of implementation and low cost. Dimensions of regular shapes such as square, triangled antennas are not suitable for upper-band microwave applications. Therefore structures with these shapes have to be modified. In this study, the resonant frequency of a H-Shaped patch antenna has been optimized by the Genetic Algorithm for the desired performance. The design has been verified with CST Electromagnetics Computation Software and it was seen that the error rate was less than 2 percent.
