Abstract :
This article analyzes the characteristics of data base and data of road traffic accident in China. On the basis of specific analysis of accident cause, this article offers classification and layer for accident data of road traffic accident information system in China, provides traffic accident causes analysis method based on rough set and gives quantitative analysis for the contribution of traffic accident made by each factor layer by layer. Analysis of accident cause based on the 20000 road traffic accident data in one area showed that the relative importance degree of road is “1” in four essential factors such as people, vehicle, road and environment. And in the road factor, the first three top relative importance degrees are types of safeguards at roadside, road physical isolation and structure road surface in turn.
