Abstract
The general characteristics for induction generators suitable for 60 Hz, 50 Hz and rectification are treated using a development program of eight basic generators. Analysis indicates economic outputs of up to some 200 kW at 60 Hz at normal prime mover speeds, higher for DC. High stator to rotor slot ratios are necessary, one version of which is unreported. Advantages and disadvantages are given
