            Abstract : 
An object-oriented model driven rapid development process for real-time system is presented in this paper. This process adopts iterative development mode including four phases: analysis, design, implementation and testing base on the model driven architecture and each phase has micro-iterative process. The model is built by Unified Modeling Language. Model driven development method centers on software modeling and primary artifacts designing instead of traditional method, which centers on program codes. This can promote the abstract layer from program code level to model level and implement the testing and verification of system function and performance in model level. It can help to solve the disaccord between models and program codes, the disjointed problem between function and performance of real-time system in traditional methods. The application of model driven development method in computer numerical controller is verified
