Abstract
Following the privatisation of the UK electricity supply industry, various economic, legislative and cost effective technical developments have combined to produce a significant increase in the numbers of generators seeking a connection to Regional Electricity Companies´ distribution systems. Here, the authors describe how this has led the supply industry to redefine conditions governing the connection and management of embedded generation
