Abstract :
We have developed chirped volume Bragg grating compact pulse compressors and robustly single-mode large-core fibers using chirally-coupled-core (CCC) structures, recently demonstrating high average power and 200 fs FCPA based on these new components. A combination of these two technologies is becoming an enabler for finally achieving trully compact high power ultrashort-pulse lasers.
