Abstract :
Knowledge representation and organization takes an important role in an e-learning system. In this paper, we put forward a metadata model for agriculture e-commerce knowledge management on the base of our investigation. The metadata model contains three classes which are personnel information class, agriculture e-commerce knowledge class and agriculture e-commerce domain class. Furthermore, we also gave the subclasses of these three classes. Then these three classes and their subclasses are integrated together through the description of their relationships. Finally the metadata model is formalized by resource description framework. And the metadata model is proven to be useful in our knowledge searching system.
