Abstract
In this work, we study a generalized antenna selection strategy in two way relay networks over Rayleigh fading channels: A single antenna can be selected in relay and multi antennas can be selected in sources for both transmission and reception. Although this antenna selection strategy causes performance degradation as compared to full antenna usage, it reduces complexity and cost. Model of proposed selection strategy is developed and outage probability, overall sum-rate, overall symbol error rate (SER), effect of different power allocations in sources and relay on SER and optimum relaying for proposed selection strategy are investigated by using Monte Carlo simulation technique.
