  • Abstract
A program which calculates the cardiac cycle in a hearts wall from the cable equation by Morris-Lecar [2] is presented. The entrances in the equation are ionic concentrations [4] of calcium-potassium of a patient with cardiac problems. The hypothesis is to determine if the patient could suffer from arrhythmia. The simulation of the program [3] is based on the initial myoelectrical voltage in repose, the capacitance, the admittance, and the calcium-potassium bomb which act along the cellular membrane. A prediction of the possible arrhythmia in hyper potassiumia that the patient had, which was proved with the myoelectric study done in the hospital is determined in simulation. This program could be used in patients with cardiac problems in order to find a possible arrhythmia.
