Abstract :
This paper explains the function and design of a prototype messaging management station based upon leading-edge Java servlet technologies and the World-Wide Web. Web technologies bring valuable cost improvements, flexibility, and security enhancements to the fault management and performance management of electronic messaging systems. Web technologies can also be used to provide an integrated management function. This paper describes the MITRE alpha-release software for deployment in an operational environment, and is not an experiences paper as of yet
