Abstract :
We describe pulsed parametric amplification of CW telecom laser radiation in reverse-proton exchanged lithium niobate waveguides for generation of eyesafe narrow-linewidth muJ pulses useful for wind-sensing applications. Over 40 dB of gain was observed.
