Abstract
The paper established the mathematical model and finite element simulation model of electromagnetic field and temperature field for induction heating. It used numerical simulation to analyze the electromagnetic field distribution and temperature field distribution of the workpiece heated by induction heating furnace. From the simulation results, it gained the surface and core temperature curves of the workpiece which can be used as target curves in actual production. Using numerical simulation to study the temperature distribution and changes of induction heating furnace can offer theory support to choose and determine a reasonable heating system in actual production.
