  • Abstract
The five elements theory is the cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The traditional Chinese medicine theory system usually depends on the five elements theory in every domain. Predicate logic, which is used to model the five elements theory, could demonstrate that the five elements theory is scientific and its reasoning is strict. The predicate logic model which is established about the five elements theory in this paper could standardize medical records, reason strictly, and forecast the situation in practice. It also could manifest the integrity and logicality of the traditional Chinese medicine theory system. This model further promotes the digital process of the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
